The Georgia Potlickers is an old-time stringband from North Georgia. The band features a trio of very talented musicians who are deeply rooted in American traditional music. As The Georgia Potlickers, these guys breath new life into the traditional Southern stringband instrumentals and songs. Their music covers everything from the raucous fiddle and banjo tunes of their home state of Georgia to the ballads and frontier songs of the entire Appalachian and Piedmont regions. Also, the band draws much influence and Viral Net Profits material from both the 19th century Minstrel and early Tin Pan Alley eras.
